Nike has given its Air VaporMax 2020 FlyKnit a sleek black makeover, a follow-up to the “Team Red” colorway the footwear giant put out just four days ago.
In an effort to reduce waste and encourage sustainability, at least 50 percent of the silhouette has been constructed with recycled materials. The shoe features a highly textured FlyKnit weave made up of a bold mix of monochromatic shades. A hi-tech FastFit lacing system has been added to the shoe, offering its wearer a consistently optimal fit. Contrasting details like white ripstop pull tabs at the top of the tongue and heel, an embroidered Swoosh at the sidewalls and a marbled rear quarter with a rope-lock tab round up the uppers’ design. All of these features rest over a transparent Air sole unit that’s made from 75 percent recycled TPU.
Nike’s Air Vapormax 2020 FlyKnit “Black” is currently available on atmos’ website for $222 USD.
