Where to Buy the adidas YEEZY 700 V3 "Safflower" Now - Highsnobiety

brande.indah.link

It’s been a good year for YEEZY, but, come to think of it, every year since 2015 has been a good year for YEEZY. Like those before it, 2020 has seen countless new iterations of the adidas YEEZY drop. The latest generations of the family are some of the best yet, and that statement includes the adidas YEEZY 700 V3 "Safflower", which is readying to drop on November 14th. You can shop it ahead of that date below.

Images of the YEEZY 700 V3 "Safflower" first surfaced back in July, and the surprisingly colorful version of the silhouette piqued our interest. Since then, the name has changed following backlash regarding ‘Ye’s use of religious references in the naming of his designs. What used to be the YEEZY 700 V3 "Sephym" is now "Safflower", but the visuals remain as attractive as before. The yellow Primeknit upper is partially covered by a structural, translucent RPU cage. A grey outsole combines with a signature YEEZY natural-tone midsole to round out the eye-catching colorway.

There’s something to be said for the urgency with which Kanye continues to release new models and colorways from his coveted YEEZY line, and the surest sign that he’s doing something right is that the abundance of styles on offer has not yet taken away from the hype surrounding the brand. If he continues to innovate on design and color palette fronts, as exemplified by the adidas YEEZY 700 V3 "Safflower", there’s no reason that this will change any time soon.

StockX market data adds even more credence to the fact that the people still want YEEZYs, showing that the YEEZY 700 V3 "Safflower" has sold at a high of $800 and is currently selling for an average of $355.

atmos Collaborates With adidas For A Trio Of Uncaged Ultra Boosts - Sneaker News

brande.indah.link

Only a few years back, adidas couldn’t quite keep the Ultra Boost in stock as everything sold out as a result of Kanye’s cosign. The same effect was experienced tenfold with collaborations, the most exciting of which belonging to the model’s Uncaged variants. Soon, after bringing back old form with the DNA, the Three Stripes are set to remove the cage once again at the direction of Japanese legend atmos.

Three colorways have been prepared for release, two of a straightforward and neutral variety while the last opts for a design quite reminiscent of HYPEBEAST’s sought after collaboration from 2015. Down to the weave coloring — a two-toned black with grey accents — and its sole, the pair is close to identical; the only main distinction is the branding as the side profile is marked with boldfaced adidas text. This extends over to the Triple Black and Triple White schemes whose uppers prefer a much simpler arrangement.

Take a look at all three below and expect a release to arrive at adidas.com later this week on November 14th according to adidas AU.

In other news, a Triple Black NMD Hu is releasing later next week.

Adidas Taps New Senior Vice President of Global Marketing - WWD

brande.indah.link

FREE TO BE AT ADIDAS: Adidas has revealed that Vicky Free will be joining the company at the start of the new year as senior vice president of global marketing.

She will be based at the activewear giant’s headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany.

With more than 20 years of professional experience with data-driven companies like Disney, Free will have global responsibility to oversee and navigate Adidas’ commercial and brand success by developing what the company described as “compelling consumer brand stories.”

Free will report to Brian Grevy, an executive board member of Adidas AG, who is responsible for global brands.

An Adidas spokesman did not respond immediately Thursday when asked whose responsibilities Free is assuming. A few of the company’s leading executives have left in recent months. In late June after Adidas employees had repeatedly criticized her for a racially insensitive comment and asked management for an investigation into the matter, Karen Perkin, an executive board member responsible for global human resources, resigned. In August, Jon Wexler exited the company as vice president and general manager of Yeezy.

Previously, Free was senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Novant Health. Her leadership is “guided by the core values of innovation, data-driven decision making, collaboration and strategic diversity and inclusion,” according to Free’s LinkedIn profile.

Like its chief rival Nike, the senior management team at Adidas has been called upon by its employees to have more representation for Black communities. Last summer more than 1,600 employees at Adidas and Reebok signed a petition demanding change to ensure racial equality. The company held a virtual town hall meeting to address that and to discuss multiple initiatives to support the Black community and college students of color. Adidas’ leadership team has also committed to hiring more employees of color. The Adidas spokesman did not respond immediately Thursday regarding whether Free plans to address the diversity issues that some employees at Adidas have complained about.

Free’s career has involved leading omnichannel marketing teams and crafting campaigns for such brands as the Walt Disney Company, McDonald’s, Time Warner, BET Networks and Viacom. Free earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and an undergraduate degree in mass communications from the University of South Carolina.

The adidas And Reebok Continue Daring Crossovers With The ZX Fury - Sneaker News

brande.indah.link

Even though adidas and Reebok are under the same umbrella, their official collaborations are no less surprising. Upon the partnership’s announcement — which was an important moment for both sides — the two debuted a Boost-outfitted Instapump Fury, the proposed flagship that merged two opposite brand icons. Almost an entire year later, the duo are at it again as they combine Steven Smith’s iconic design with the ZX 8000.

Two of the aforementioned silhouettes’ most signature colorways come together here despite both being loud in their own right. The ZX 8000 displays swooping suede and mesh panels of Aqua blue, wrapping the heel tab, underlying tongue, and toe box in the same bright shade. Behind, at the counter, the TPU support is chiseled down somewhat to better suit its backdrop, meaning its patterned unders are proffered a much smaller window. Both above these and below, the Instapump Fury adds its typical fixtures: the sole is ripped straight from the OG Citron scheme much like the bladder whose highlighter yellow envelops the frame of the Three Stripes classic.

Take a detailed look at the latest Reebok/adidas hybrid here and expect a release to arrive hopefully before the end of the year at Reebok.com or possibly adidas.com.

In other news, the Kyrie 7 By You just added a variety of options for fans of the basketball signature.

Is Adidas Stock a Buy? - Motley Fool

brande.indah.link

Adidas (OTC:ADDYY) stock recently dropped after the German athletic footwear and apparel maker posted its third-quarter earnings.

Its revenue declined 7% year-over-year (3% in constant currency) to 5.96 billion euros ($7.05 billion), marking its third straight quarter of declining sales as it struggles to recover from the pandemic. Its revenue fell 20% year-over-year (18% in constant currency) in the first nine months of 2020.

Adidas' net income from continuing operations fell 10% year-over-year to 578 million euros ($685 million) during the third quarter, and plunged 83% to 291 million euros ($344 million) in the first nine months.

Those headline numbers initially seem terrible, but could Adidas' stock still be worth buying if we look past its near-term pandemic headwinds?

A strong sequential recovery

Adidas' year-over-year growth rates look dismal, but its revenue actually grew 66% sequentially from the previous quarter. Its gross margin also held steady, despite enduring pressure from promotions and currency headwinds, and its operating profit returned to positive territory again with a double-digit operating margin:

Adidas also reduced its inventories 10% sequentially in the third quarter, but focused on maintaining a "profitable sell-through and disciplined wholesale sell-in" instead of widespread clearance sales.

As a result, Adidas maintained higher gross margins than Under Armour (NYSE:UA) (NYSE:UAA) and Nike (NYSE:NKE) throughout the crisis.

UA's gross margin declined 140 basis points sequentially to 47.9% in its third quarter, which ended on Sept. 30, as it heavily discounted its products throughout the pandemic. Nike's gross margin rose 750 basis points sequentially to 44.8% during the first quarter of 2021, which ended on Aug. 31, but it was still weighed down by big discounts and high supply chain costs.

But a second wave of infections could derail that recovery

For the fourth quarter, Adidas expects a "low to mid-single-digit" year-over-year revenue decline in constant currency terms. That guidance looks stable, but Adidas also warned that the new wave of COVID-19 infections already reduced its global store opening rate from 96% at the end of September to 93% in early November.

Adidas' flagship store in London.

It also noted "stricter social distancing guidelines" were having an "adverse impact" on its store traffic, especially in Europe -- which accounted for 29% of its third-quarter sales. It also faces a tough comparison to the prior year's fourth quarter, when sales of its new UEFA Euro 2020 merchandise and early shipments ahead of the earlier Chinese New Year holiday boosted its total sales in China.

Even though Adidas faces a difficult comparison in China, it expects the market to "return to growth" in the fourth quarter. That would be good news for the Asia-Pacific region, which accounted for 31% of its top line in the third quarter.

Assuming countries don't implement any major lockdowns and its store opening rate stays above 90% without a further slowdown in traffic, Adidas expects to generate an operating profit of €100-€200 million ($118-$170 million) in the fourth quarter, compared to an operating profit of €245 million a year ago, as it focuses on "disciplined" sales instead of aggressive promotions.

Adidas is also reportedly exploring a sale of Reebok, which generated 7% of its sales last quarter and remains much weaker than its core brand. Divesting Reebok could streamline its business and boost its profits.

Looking beyond the COVID-19 crisis

Adidas' revenue and earnings will likely decline by the double digits this year, and it's difficult to tell if a second wave of COVID-19 infections will disrupt its recovery next year.

However, Adidas and Nike grew at comparable rates over the past several years, and both companies easily outperformed Under Armour. Adidas' gross and operating margins remain broadly stable, and its growth should stabilize and accelerate again after the pandemic ends.

That's probably why Adidas' stock remains up about 3% this year, even as its revenue and profits tumbled over the past three quarters. Adidas' stock has already rallied about 250% over the past five years, but its future remains bright. Investors who buy this stock today should brace for a few more rough quarters, but they should reap bigger profits over the long term.

Where To Buy Beyoncé’s IVY PARK x adidas Ultra Boost “Core Black” - Sneaker News

brande.indah.link

Beyoncé and her IVY PARK imprint treated fans ahead of the holiday season by launching its second apparel and footwear capsule. Unsurprisingly, the collection sold out and quickly made its rounds throughout social media. Following news that she’s signed a multi-year partnership deal with Peloton, Mrs. Knowles-Carter has prepped another adidas Ultra Boost proposition for November 19th.

Akin to its two predecessors, the forthcoming pair opts into a tonal arrangement across its Primeknit upper and BOOST cushioning. Instead of “Maroon” or “High Res Yellow,” however, the latest option indulges in a stealthy “Core Black” makeup. Molded heel structures, leather profile 3-Stripes and the reworked lacing system that extends itself to the heel all proffer some texture to the monochromatic take. Laces deliver slight, ostensibly reflective contrast, but they’re overshadowed in their endeavor by the neon tone that animates the Continental rubber outsoles; the detachable flight jacket-reminiscent tag follows suit with “IVY PARK” branding on it.

Enjoy official images of the covert Ultra Boost here below, and find pairs arriving to retailers on November 19th.

Elsewhere under the adidas umbrella, the “Miles Morales” Superstar debuts on November 19th, too.

Jonah Hill And adidas Whip Up Three Monochromatic Takes On The Samba - Sneaker News

brande.indah.link

Jonah Hill has solidified himself as an exciting force within men’s style over the last year, thanks in large part to tucked-in NBA jerseys and the ability to seamlessly transition from tailored tuxes for the red carpet to errand-running in downtown Manhattan. Naturally, then, his partnership with adidas garnered a lot of attention upon announcement. And while it’s yet to deliver the quantity of products that a Pharrell Williams’ Human Race has, Hill’s endeavors are gradually carving out their own lane. Case in point: An adidas Samba trio inspired by the 1990s.

The “Mid90s” writer and director hasn’t been coy about his love for the era that raised him, as the adidas Originals silhouette demonstrates. For his spin on the low-top model, Hill dips each leather, suede and rubber sneaker into three tonal arrangements – “Tech Copper,” “Mineral Green” and “Noble Maroon’ – all donning fat laces and embroidered, graffiti tag-like handwriting. As with the man behind them, the collaborative pairs strike the perfect balance of elevated style and subtle edge.

Enjoy a closer look at Hill’s three Samba propositions ahead, and find pairs available at adidas.com on November 29th.

New Spider-Man Miles Morales adidas Superstars go on sale next week - 9to5Toys

brande.indah.link

We now have our first look at the new Miles Morales adidas Superstars. A collaboration between Sony, Insomniac Games, and adidas have brought one of the latter brand’s most iconic silhouettes to the upcoming Miles Morales game, but there will also be a limited run of physical, real-world adidas originals kicks known as the Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Superstar. Head below for more details and a closer look.

The upcoming Miles Morales Spider-Man game — set for a November 12 release as part of PlayStation 5’s launch day — pulls plenty of inspiration from the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. After Miles appeared in the recent animated film wearing iconic “Chicago” Jordan 1s, many assumed he would be donning the Air Jordan classics on PlayStation 5 as well. But after Miles was spotted in-game wearing the three stripes, it was confirmed that he had traded his Nike deal over for an adidas one.

Miles Morales adidas

While the Nike Jordan 1s would seem to be a much better fit here overall, here’s what Insomniac had to say about its choice to use the adidas Superstar silhouette in the upcoming game:

Insomniac, PlayStation, and Marvel Games worked in close collaboration with adidas to create new sneakers for Miles to wear in game. We knew right away that we wanted to honor the adidas Superstar sneakers on their 50th anniversary. It’s a classic design, connected to New York, and quintessentially adidas. We chose to exhibit the timeless colors for which he’s most known: the black suit with the red spider icon.

Players will see the new Miles Morales adidas on screen in both the hi and low-top form-factor “with select suits.”

But the red and black Miles Morales adidas are also getting a real-world limited run known as Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Superstar. They are essentially the classic adidas Superstar silhouette everyone knows with a special black and red colorway to match Miles’ most iconic Spidey suit. A PlayStation-themed deubré is in place here along with webbing details on the heel. But they are otherwise the same Superstars you remember.

The Miles Morales adidas are set for release in “US, Canada, and select markets in the Asia-Pacific region on November 19th” and you’ll find all of the details on how to score them right here

9to5Toys’ Take:

It is always interesting to see these crossover projects that are attached to big game releases, even if they are, in many cases, next to impossible to actually get. We can only assume the choice to switch the iconic Jordan 1s out for what seem like a much less hyped adidas Superstar is a legal one. With a more fashion-forward design sensibility and the classic Jordan 1 silhouette, these things could have exploded in the sneakerhead world. But instead, we are left with mostly unforgettable real-world Miles Morales adidas and a slightly less iconic-looking in-game character design.

That, however, does not dimmish the highly-anticipated release of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales for PlayStation 5, scheduled to go live in around 12-hours at this point. Here are more details about the game, the animated Into the Spider-Verse Suit, and information on scoring a PS5 tomorrow.

Adidas posts improved Q3 earnings but warns of further Covid-19 hit - SportsPro Media

Ecommerce sales rise 51% but Q4 revenue expected to drop amid second wave.

Adidas posts improved Q3 earnings but warns of further Covid-19 hit

  • Currency-neutral revenues in Q3 down 3% to €5.96bn
  • DTC business grows 13% and accounts for 35% of total sales
  • Low to mid single-digit revenue decline projected in Q4

Adidas has reported a much-improved third quarter as it continues to recover from the coronavirus pandemic, including a 51 per cent year-on-year uplift in ecommerce sales, but has provided a cautious outlook for the remainder of 2020 as Covid-19 cases continue to surge.

The Germany-based sportswear giant’s currency-neutral revenues for the three months to 30th September were down slightly to €5.96 billion (US$7.04 billion), a three per cent drop from €6.41 billion for the same period in 2019.

Net income from continuing operations came in at €578 million (U$682.7 million), down from €644 million in 2019, while the company’s gross margin was 50 per cent, down from 52.1 per cent in 2019.

Nevertheless, Adidas' overall direct-to-consumer (DTC) business, which includes ecommerce and company-owned and operated retail outlets, grew 13 per cent in currency-neutral terms and accounted for 35 per cent of total sales in the quarter.

The group's increased ecommerce business, including a marked rise in full-price sales, is in line with the results reported by its chief rivals, with Nike and Puma also seeing dramatic growth in online sales this year.

Two-thirds of Adidas’ online sales in Europe and the United States came through the company’s loyalty programme, which now boasts 150 million members.

Adidas said more than 90 per cent of its owned retail stores are now operational after more than 70 per cent were forced to close during the height of the pandemic. While footfall remains significantly below prior year levels, customer conversion rates are higher, the company said.

Adidas’ Q3 earnings mean the group’s revenue for the first nine months of 2020 fell by 18 per cent on a currency-neutral basis to €14.297 billion, down from €17.802 billion in 2019.

While its Q3 operating profit dropped 12 per cent to €794 million, the company noted that the figure represents an improvement of more than €1.1 billion versus Q2 2020.

The release of Adidas’ Q3 earnings followed reports the company is mulling a cut-price sale of Reebok, the Boston-based brand it bought for US$3.8 billion in 2006, amid growing pressure from shareholders.

Private equity firms Permira and Triton are said to be exploring a possible acquisition, with Kasper Rorsted, Adidas’ chief executive, accepting his company may be forced to settle for less than €2 billion (US$2.3 billion) to offload a brand it has struggled to rejuvenate over the past 14 years.

In Q3, Reebok’s revenues dropped seven per cent, while its revenues for the first nine months of 2020 declined 20 per cent.

Looking ahead to Q4, Adidas said ‘uncertainties around the further development of the coronavirus pandemic as well as the global macroeconomic environment remain high’, and new lockdown measures in several countries have forced further store closures.

As a result, the company predicts that its top line will ‘develop similarly in Q4 as it did in Q3, implying a low- to mid-single-digit currency-neutral revenue decline’.

For Q4, operating profit is anticipated to be between €100 million and €200 million, assuming no additional major lockdowns are implemented and at least 90 per cent of Adidas stores remain open.

“While at the beginning of the quarter we were on track for growth in Q4, a worsening of the pandemic in many regions of the world is again requiring our patience and support. However, this is not taking us by surprise,” said Rorsted.

“Thanks to our prudent approach, we are now well-prepared to cope with these short-term uncertainties. At the same time, we are even better positioned to benefit from the long-term industry growth drivers accelerated by the pandemic such as health and wellbeing, athleisure and digitisation.”

Spider-Man: Miles Morales Inspires Real-World Adidas Shoes - Screen Rant

brande.indah.link

Adidas has teamed up with Marvel, Sony, and Insomniac Games to release some real-world shoes inspired by the upcoming PlayStation exclusive, Spider-Man: Miles Morales. There is now only a mere matter of days left before the launch of Sony’s next-gen console, the PlayStation 5, and its latest offering in the Marvel gaming series.

Sony has an incredible looking roster of games coming to its latest console, with exclusives including Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart and Horizon Forbidden West both scheduled for release in 2021. One of the most highly anticipated new games for the PS5 is Spider-Man: Miles Morales, which is releasing alongside the next-gen console on November 12. Picking up where 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man left off, gamers will be able to swing through the streets of New York in high-quality next-gen graphics as Miles Morales, as he embodies his role as the friendly neighborhood superhero with the aid of his cuddly side-kick.

Fans of Miles Morale’s web-slinging street style, are about to get the chance to walk a miles in his shoes, as Adidas is now offering the chance to replicate his in-game look in the real world. Sony announced the collaboration with Adidas on its PlayStation Blog earlier today, showing off the sweet kicks that are about to become a reality. Featuring the emblematic Spider-Man web printed on the back of the heel and PlayStation tags on the laces, these sneakers are bold in their design, with Adidas’ iconic three stripes and shelled toe prominently shown off in contrasting black against the red leather.

Real Life Miles Morales x Adidas sneakers

It is not often that fans get the chance to dress like their heroes, so this collaboration is pretty cool news for fans of Spider-Man and Marvel. The shoes themselves will be available from December, exclusive to Adidas stores and online, for a limited run. Coming in both adult and junior sizes, these sneakers sadly won't help anyone suddenly swing athletically from block to block and back again, but they look good nonetheless.

While it may be true that the shoes won’t be able to turn anyone into a masked crime fighting hero, at least that will be something that will be achievable in-game, when Spider-Man: Miles Morales releases this Thursday. The launch of the PlayStation 5 and its next-gen collection of video games is an exciting time for the gaming community and, thanks to Adidas, fans will have the chance to look extra slick while taking on the vigilantes of Harlem and Brooklyn.

Editor’s Notes: After appearing in two colorways, Jonah Hill's adidas Samba has surfaced in a third iteration. Arriving alongside the previously seen "Maroon" and "Green Night" options is the "Craft Ochre" take.

All three Jonah Hill x adidas Sambas are currently being showcased on adidas' Australian site with a release date of November 13. In addition to the sneakers, the collaboration also includes matching apparel in the form of puffer jackets, chino pants, and micromesh shorts, which you can see below.

Much like Hill's adidas Superstar, the Sambas draw inspiration from the actor/director's childhood in the '90s and his affinity for skateboarding and its subsequent culture. It remains to be seen if the collaboration will be launching worldwide on November 13, so be sure to stay tuned for additional release details.
