For those looking to possibly get their hands on the Jet Bot AI+ Robot Vacuum that Samsung originally announced during CES 2021, the chance has now arrived. The new robot vacuum has entered its pre-order phase on Samsung’s website where you’ll be able to reserve one of the first models rolling out when they begin shipping shortly.
The Samsung Jet Bot AI+ looks like something you’d finding roving around Mars with its very unique design compared to what you might be used to seeing.
Similar to products like the Trifo Lucy, it has the ability to detect objects as it moves around the flooring working. This allows it to avoid objects getting sucked up into the gears. The only difference is it uses an active stereo-type 3D sensor and built-in AI instead of a general camera to make it happen.

Finishing the job, it has a collection bin that automatically sucks everything collected from the robot and into a reservoir that contains a 2.5L dust bag. Minimizing the number of times you have to clean it out. It also natively supports Samsung’s SmartThings so that you can include it within your smart home setup.
There are a lot of big features with the model, which explains the hefty price tag that comes with it. The MSRP is $1,299, which is a mixture of high-end features and the Samsung name that come together to create this total.
Again, it is currently in its pre-order phase. The announced launch date is this month in the US and Europe, so you might see a very short pre-order phase as they may begin shipping by the end of this month.
