After enrolling a vibrant pair of “University Red” Dunk Highs to its forthcoming “First Use” pack, Nike now enlists another epochal silhouette to the party in the form of the unmistakable Air Force 1.
Celebrating 50 years of the Swoosh, this latest addition houses a printed “First Use June 18, 1971” beneath an embroidered Swoosh — the year design was first realised — while “1971” can also be found on the insoles too.
Dressed in a crisp “Light Stone” colorway, each sneaker boasts a Swoosh-jewel on the laces, and writing on the tongue explaining the pack’s inspiration, with the modern Nike font we’ve become accustomed to is replaced with more retro-looking text.
Nike’s Air Force 1 “First Use” is set to drop on June 18 and will be available via Nike and Asphalt Gold’s online raffle.
In other news, take a look at some more Dunk Highs that are a part of Nike’s “First Use” pack.
