The Matthew M. Williams x Nike Zoom MMW 04 Appears In Triple-Black - Sneaker News

First previewed during New York Fashion Week 2020, Matthew M. Williams‘ Nike Zoom MMW 04 has recently surfaced in an all-“Black” colorway ahead of an anticipated May 25th release at select retailers across Europe.

Polarizing in design, the collaborative silhouette features experimental cushioning and tooling solutions along the lines of what’s produced under the Nike ISPA banner. Top-notch breathability is accomplished via a mesh base, but instead of resembling Nike Running sneakers of yesteryear, the model’s ample synthetic overlays and shape propel it into the future. Furthermore, an exaggerated sole unit simultaneously nods to brutalism and utilitarian footwear of utilitarian time given its jagged edges, exposed nature and Zoom Air units at the forefoot. Lastly, 1017 ALYX 9SM’s designer infuses Swoosh heritage to his forward-thinking joint-effort through the tank wheel-reminiscent waffle-patterned outsole.

Enjoy official images of the triple-“Black” Zoom MMW 04 ahead, and expect a limited launch at select stockists and SNKRS on May 27th, 2021 for $450.

Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, the Air Jordan 1 Low has recently emerged in handfuls of summer-ready options.
