Nike's Air Zoom Type To Release With an Assortment of Playful Overlays - HYPEBEAST

The Air Zoom Type has seen many a different makeover since its inception during Summer 2020, and now the Nike lifestyle silhouette is being welcomed back to the frontlines to introduce its latest offering. Instead of going for the understated look, this iteration taps into its playful side by attaching multiple patterned overlays to its rear end.

Beginning with base portion, a natural white nubuck dominates most of the ground here as it makes up the entire forefoot, while subtle burnt orange notes exposed stitching and branded hits on the lateral and medial sides. Tongues also supply more contrast as they are dialed with clay pot-browns that match up with the insoles. However, where it really gets adventurous here is on the heels as each foot carries different patterned overlays. The right side couples army green quilts and blue/white pinstripes, while the left side amalgamates black panels on the lateral and an intricate, wedding dress-like fabric on the medial. All of these are buttoned down by copper pieces affixed to the heightened heels and lateral backends.

Double stacked midsoles come prepared with more ivory complexions and feature exposed Air units which bath in a penny-esque hue. All-black waffle outsoles are glued to the very bottoms to bring together its look.

Nike China is set to launch this N.354 colorway on January 31 for ¥1,299 (approx. $201 USD). A stateside release hasn’t been announced yet.
