As its fifth anniversary comes to a close, the adidas Ultra Boost is adding yet another original colorway to its retro roster: “Grey/Silver Metallic/Solar Red.”
Donning the 1.0’s Primeknit pattern, the recently-launched pair delivers an aesthetic perfect for year-round wear. The greyscale palette becomes lighter towards the heel, while the forefoot indulges in various shades of the proposition’s titular hue. Profile Three Stripes introduce a matte silver into the mix, which becomes glossy on the “ultraboost” branding on the lateral heel. Underfoot, Continental rubber outsoles provide white BOOST-cushioning traction, but boast an updated pattern from their original arrangement.

Elsewhere under the adidas umbrella, an aqua NMD Hu arrives on November 7th.
