At the hands of Joshua Vides, the Triple White Air Force 1 became the perfect canvas for cartoon-inspired contrast. His touch, which primarily involved the fine point of Sharpie marker, was replicated multiple times over by many a custom maker and now even Nike themselves. Though what the brand has to offer is far more versatile and marginally distinct as it achieves the same effect through contrast stitch.
The base, though, remains the classic white with little deviation aside from a full black outsole. Overlays, unders, and lace units are kept their achromatic shade, while branding both at the tongue tab and the heel embroidery employ the B/W contrast that’s utilized throughout the entirety of the construction. Each seam — even at the Swoosh’s edges — are replete with dark threading, completing a look that, while far less aggressive than Vides’ vision, is a subtle departure from the usual GRs.
