Although the 2020 Summer Olympics didn’t come to fruition, people are trying their best to maintain a positive mindset as they look forward to Tokyo 2021. A new Nike Air Max 2090 is arriving even sooner, featuring accents of color reminiscent of the Olympic Rings.
Dubbed Nike’s “current shoe of the future”, the Air Max 2090 has been revealing various new colorways, including an Air Max 2090 “Radiant Red”. Adding to the ever-growing collection, this pair boasts black uppers and transparent elements that allow for the Olympic Rings’ colors to animate the model. A golden yellow is used for the swoosh and inside, while blue and green are seen on the heel and Air unit. The red on the tongue and contrast stitching on the uppers to finalize the color scheme inspired by the five rings and create a winning balance of colors.
