Earlier this year, adidas released the Ultra4D in the original UltraBOOST colorway of “Core Black,” and now we have been treated to an on-foot look of the new triple black offering courtesy of @Yankeekicks.
Like its predecessor, the adidas Ultra4D in triple black features a black 4D-printed sole unit that’s made with light and oxygen by the way of Digital Light Synthesis. The result is a sole unit that’s incredibly cushioned and supportive, with just enough bounce that makes the shoe an ideal running pair, just like the UltraBOOST used to serve so well as.
A black Primeknit upper is intersected with gray Primeknit to create this almost 3D-looking effect of little squares all over the shoe. This is contrasted by solid knitted blocks of gray on the toe that help gives the sneaker shape and definition, as well as elements such as the single-toned tongue which makes it stand out against the rest of the shoe.
Glossy black Three Stripe branding appears on the matte black mid-panel cage, which forms into the Ultra4D-branded heel cup at the rear-quarter. adidas branding on the toe of the Continental rubber outsole rounds out this pair.
Take a look at the adidas Ultra4D in triple black above, and stay tuned to HYPEBEAST for official release information when more news comes.
In other news, adidas has turned its Samba into a snowboot.
