'Star Wars' and adidas Drop ZX 2K BOOST Inspired by Han Solo's Holster Belt - HYPEBEAST

adidas continues its partnership with Star Wars with its latest release, which this time sees the ZX 2K BOOST appear with a full Han Solo-influenced makeover.

Following on from pairs inspired by C-3PO, Boba Fett, and Darth Vadar, this offering takes a far subtler route in terms of design. “Core Black” synthetic fabrics and TPU overlays used for structural support have been used to build the upper, while “Sand” leather and more “Core Black” TPU has been used to construct the shoe’s heel section.

A “Sand” midsole clip sits on top of black BOOST that runs the full length of the sole unit, and is finished with embossed adidas branding. What makes this pair of ZX 2K BOOSTs special is its nod to Han Solo — most notably, the character’s signature belt has been translated onto the shoe in the form of a strap-buckle that wraps over the lacing system.

Underneath this, you’ll find a Han Solo patch stitched onto the tongue, as well as “STAR” and “WARS” lace locks. Rounding out this collaborative sneaker is another set of lace locks — one of which says “HAN SOLO” and the other replicating the Millennium Falcon — as well as a special edition box.

Take a look at the Star Wars x adidas ZX 2K BOOST “Han Solo” in the gallery above, and pick up a pair while stocks last at retailers such as atmos Tokyo. The pair retails for approximately $197 USD.
