Nike has weatherized its Air Force 1 Boot with GORE-TEX. Following its A Ma Maniére’s F&F Air Force 1 “Hand Wash Cold” unveiled just two days ago, the American footwear giant has opted for a similarly shaded “Black Gum” colorway this time around.
The shoe’s high-top construction is dominated by sleek black full-grain leather uppers, complemented by tonal materials like ripstop and rubber. “Nike” branding is debossed at the tongue, followed by a velcro ankle strap and a set of flat laces that cover the forefoot. A large Swoosh covers the sidewalls, below which an embroidered “GORE-TEX” label is etched. Other features like subtle perforations at the toebox and a contrasting brown chunky Gum midsole finalize the shoe’s utilitarian design.
Nike’s Air Force 1 GORE-TEX “Black Gum” is slated to drop soon on the label’s website for $180 USD.
