adidas by Pharrell Williams‘ Crazy BYW has been given stark “Cloud White” and “Core Black” colorways. The silhouette has been significantly reworked since last year’s edition, tweaked from a sock-like construction to a more structured mold, this time around.
Most of the shoe is built with finely textured mesh uppers, complemented by a flurry of details like rubber overlays and reflective strips. “adidas” branding is placed at the top of the tongue, set over a magnetic rubber strap embellished with a “Hu” motif and a circular leather button. Stretching from the lateral side of the tongue to the toecap is a long angular zipper that allows wearers to conveniently put on the shoe. Other details like reflective strips on the forefoot, suede panels at the toecap and a neoprene heel support round off the uppers, while a chunky rubber midsole finalizes the shoe’s boisterous design.
adidas by Pharrell Williams’ Crazy BYW “Cloud White” and “Core Black” are currently available on the label’s website for $250 USD.
