It’s all kicking off on August 5th at 10AM ET
On August 5th, Samsung is expected to unveil its latest Galaxy Note smartphone at a new Unpacked event. But alongside its new flagship phone, the company says it plans to launch four additional devices, and rumors suggest we’re in for a mix of foldables, wearables, tablets, and headphones.
Specifically,, it looks like Samsung is getting ready to announce a successor to the Galaxy Fold called the Galaxy Z Fold 2, the Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch, the Galaxy Tab S7 tablet, and a new pair of true wireless earbuds called the Galaxy Buds Live. There’s also the Galaxy Note 20, which is widely expected to come in two variants.
The launch is due to kick off at 10AM ET / 7AM PT, but the ongoing coronavirus pandemic means that it’s going to be an online-only launch. We’ve seen companies take a number of different approaches in replacing physical events, ranging from simply presenting to an empty auditorium to broadcasting slick video presentations, but this will be a first for Samsung. Its last event in February took place before the pandemic upended the old way of doing things.
