Nike‘s Air VaporMax 2020 FlyKnit has been given “Deep Royal Blue” highlights against its multicolored uppers, a follow-up to the “Smoke Grey” iteration seen last month.
The shoe is part of Nike’s efforts to further improve its sustainable manufacturing processes. At least 50 percent of the shoe’s materials, by weight, have been crafted using recycled content. Starting at the top of the sneaker is a hi-tech FastFit lacing system that enables an optimal fit while providing ample support to the foot. A bright green pull tab is placed at the top of the tongue, complemented by an orange heel pull. Furthermore, a contrasting white Swoosh appears at the sidewalls against a multicolored yarn weave. Other features like the marbled gray rear quarter, its accompanying rope lock and a transparent full-length Air sole unit made from 75% recycled TPU round off the sneaker’s eco-friendly design.
Nike’s Air VaporMax 2020 FlyKnit “Deep Royal Blue/Multi-Color” will be available on August 7, 1 a.m. EDT on Nike’s website for $220 USD.
