During our test of the Samsung Galaxy Flex 13.3, bothersome noises became noticeable. However, these didn't come from the convertible itself but from the included power adapter. In a somewhat noisy environment, this might not necessarily be disturbing, but in a quiet workplace, it has a strong distracting effect. Moreover, when the Galaxy Flex is used in tablet mode, the back of the lid doesn't lie completely flush with the underside of the base. The hinge is no longer firm at this point, and a clearance of almost one centimeter is generated, which makes handling the device difficult.
We would also like Samsung to make the fans a bit quieter by updating the software and to optimize the power consumption on battery power with simultaneous WLAN use. That the capacity of almost 70 Wh is only enough for a little over seven hours without power being supplied seems a bit too short to us.
You can read what else the small Windows convertible has to offer in our detailed review of the Samsung Galaxy Book Flex 13.3.
